As many of you know, the Bachmann campaign accused CBS of "concrete evidence confirming what every conservative already knows – the

liberal mainstream media elites are manipulating the Republican

debates." This accusation was the result of an email that was sent to CBS staffers allegedly stating that Bachmann was to get only a few seconds of air time during the debate.

As many of you know, the Bachmann campaign accused CBS of "concrete evidence confirming what every conservative already knows – the
liberal mainstream media elites are manipulating the Republican
debates." This accusation was the result of an email that was sent to CBS staffers allegedly stating that Bachmann was to get only a few seconds of air time during the debate.

Was the Bachmann camp right about their assertion or did CBS make their decision based on other reasons?

Personally, I think that CBS, as every other network out there, is aware of their audience. Because they were marketing to a specific audience, that is conservative Republicans and the "Christian" right; and since this particular demographic tends to be biased towards woman, their marketing dictated that she be ignored. After all, the audience was not interested on what she had to say, since she is a woman, and conservative Republicans(in particular the "Christian" right) will not even entertain the idea of a female president.

So what do you thing? Why is she polling at 4%? She is a true conservative, she believes what she says unlike the others. So why is she not on the lead?
